Located in the city center, The Aquarium - Terrarium Krk is spread over 380 m² of attractive space filled with wild Adriatic marine life. A visit to the Aquarium - Terrarium Krk will make for a perfect educational experience for kids and adults wishing to get better acquainted with underwater life in Croatia.
The Krk Aquarium houses over 300 samples of freshwater fish that mainly originate from the cold rivers and lakes of Croatia, as well as the rest of the world. The Krk Terrarium covers an area of 180 m² and is home to around twenty species of exotic animals. Caimans, pythons, iguanas, panther chameleons, and cute little geckos are just some of the inhabitants you can come say hi to.
Also, be sure to check out one of the largest collections of Adriatic shellfish displayed in the Aquarium.
